Talking about death

I found a poem called “Darkness” in Space#3 by Danielle, a 5th grader in Missouri. I wonder why is she talking about death.

One line that stands out for me is. “I want to see the day light again”
I think this is weird because it sounds like your talking about death and that’s creepy. Why do you think about death?

Another line I liked a little is “this could be heaven” because you
must be a good kid thinking about heaven.

I’m looking forward to you making your next poem, this time put some characters.

Painting Eye

I found a painting in Space, Issue #2 by Lindsea.  I loved it because it had all colors! It has my favorite ones which are blue and red.  

I was thrilled by “Waking Up,” because of all the colors.

I look forward to seeing what Lindsea makes next.

Will we win the world series?

I was playing baseball with my team The Royals. Our team was playing against the Blue Jays. We lost 4 to 5.We were close;were about to win but one of our players got caught out.We lost in our  home feild.

I was in the dug out for most of the game. I only batted once because I’m not that good. They walked me.

I am playing Friday when the Royals and the Blue Jays play again.

Baseball means everything to me. My uncle was a legend at baseball. Also my grandfather was a legend, but not as great as my uncle. They both have a million trophies.

Mother's Day, Baseball and Mother Nature

On Mother’s Day I gave my mom a Mother’s Day card and I gave her 5 dollars. I went to the beauty salon for my mother to get her hair done. I also went to the park to play baseball with my cousins.

After Mother’s Day, I had baseball practice and had to go to Modells to buy a sports cup, helmet, and bat. Then I went to my baseball practice, but it was cancelled because it was raining. The baseball field was wet and there was a lot of mud so I was so mad at Mother Nature. I brought all my equitment for nothing.

I think John Cena is cool because people like him and he’s a rapper. One rap I heard was “Word of Life.” It’s about his life.

Sonic is cool because everybody likes him. He reminds me of a teddy bear like him. It’s good and its comfortable like a pillow.

I like the Ponce giant letters because my mom is from Ponce and my dad I’m is from Ponce.

I like the baseball team because I am in one that’s why I chose baseball little league.
